Curating exceedingly rare materials from the most unprecedented time in modern history.

Magnificently emblematic of the 2020 cultural revolution, global lockdowns, international health crisis and United States presidential election, Artifacts is honored to present the Art of Crime – a collection of plywood window barriers salvaged from New York City's most iconic luxury-retail and art neighborhood, the SoHo-Cast Iron Historic District, following a wave of arson, vandalism and looting between May 26 and June 8, 2020 that caused $1–2 billion in insured damage across 140 US cities - the highest recorded in American history. These objects are the only of their kind to be offered for private collection from the historic downtown New York City neighborhood.
